Apple Crumble

Wintertime is apple cinnamon time. One of your favorite products and bestsellers from last year is back, conjuring the scent of fresh apple pie with cinnamon in your home.

Like all our candles, the Apple Crumble Candle consists of 100% natural wax, in this case, soy and rapeseed wax. The wax decoration is as well.

A storage jar serves as the candle container. We include the wooden lid, but we will not place it on the candle. This way, you have a storage jar with an airtight lid as soon as the candle has burned down. Of course, you can also use the storage jar for food.

Simply pour hot water into the container to remove wax residue. Afterwards, put the storage jar in the dishwasher once, and you can use the glass along with the cork lid for a wide variety of things. As a plant pot, a storage jar for food, a decorative jar, a storage container for all sorts of things, to melt wax residue from other candles and use it again as a candle, etc. There are no limits to the possibilities, the main thing is that it continues to be used.

The candle wax is made of 100% organic soy wax and rapeseed wax. Both types of wax used have a long burn time and are free from paraffin and other harmful substances. Vegan, eco-friendly, sustainable, poured in Germany, and high-quality craftsmanship.

Safety instructions

• IMPORTANT for candles in natural product bowls, e.g., wood or coconut. Wood and coconut have pores. It is possible that some wax may leak through the shell. Please always place the candle on a suitable surface, such as a plate
• Never leave a burning candle unattended
• Keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets
• Always maintain a minimum distance between burning candles
• Do not burn on or near easily flammable objects
• Do not place in drafts
• Do not place near heat sources
• Place the candle in an upright, stable position
• Trim the candle wick to a length of about 1 cm before lighting; for wooden wicks, a maximum of 5-7 mm
• Always use a base made of heat-resistant material
• Do not move a burning candle
• Never use liquid to extinguish a candle
• Not suitable for children or teenagers

For all candles, the following applies:

• When lighting for the first time, (ABSOLUTELY!) let the candle burn for at least two to four hours, so that the entire surface is liquid. If this is missed, the candle will not burn out completely, but will only burn down along the wick.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended, especially near drafts, children, pets, or flammable materials.
• Do not re-light the candle once less than 1 cm of wax remains. For further use of the candle container, please note our tip at the bottom of the page.

For candles with a wooden wick, the following also applies:

• Both the wooden wick and the soy wax burn slowly. Advantage: the candle lasts longer. Disadvantage: the wick could burn out before the wax is hot enough. Do not light the wick at the very top, but directly above the wax. This way it takes a moment to catch fire, but will already start to melt the wax slightly. This supports the wick, especially when lighting for the first time.
• The product card states that a replacement wick is included in case the wick goes out. However, we have completely redesigned our wicks. A replacement wick is no longer necessary!
• Wooden wicks do not need to be trimmed. However, if it starts to smoke or the flame becomes too large, trim it to 1 cm.
  

For candles in a coconut shell, the following also applies:

• The coconut shell is a natural product and has pores. Since we have opted out of using any varnishes, these pores are not sealed. If the coconut candle burns for more than 8 hours at a time, the liquid wax may seep through the pores. Therefore, please always place something under the candle so that your furniture is not damaged.

Tip!

Here is how you can continue to use your candle container (made of glass, wood, and the coconut shell):

• As soon as less than 1 cm of wax remains, remove the remaining wax.
• Pour hot water into the container to help remove wax residue.
• Afterwards, you can use the shell for a variety of things:
  As a plant bowl, decorative bowl, storage container for all sorts of things, or use it as a candle again by pouring melted wax remnants from other candles into the container, etc.
• There are no limits to the possibilities, the main thing is that it is reused.
• For candles in a storage jar, the following also applies:
  After following the procedure above, you can put the storage jar in your dishwasher. Afterwards, you can also use it for food.
